Veneers are a comprehensive cosmetic treatment designed to enhance your smile. This involves removing a minimal amount of the tooth’s outer (facial) layer on the upper teeth, followed by placing a thin porcelain shell over it.

Let us walk you through the complete process, step by step.
After thoroughly explaining the entire procedure to the patient, we begin the veneer treatment. A minimal amount of enamel is carefully reduced only from the outer (facial) surface of the teeth. The amount removed corresponds precisely to the thickness of the veneer material, ensuring the overall strength of the tooth remains unaffected. There’s no need to worry about enamel trimming, as it is kept to a minimum. Once sufficient space is created for the veneer placement, we stop trimming and proceed to the next step.
Next, we take an impression of the entire jaw to ensure perfect bite alignment and a precise fit. The patient is then guided to choose a shade that matches their natural teeth as closely as possible. This impression is sent to the dental lab, where the veneers are crafted. The process typically takes about 3 to 4 days before the veneers arrive at our clinic.
Once the veneers arrive from the lab, we schedule an appointment for the patient to visit the clinic. The veneer placement process is similar to that of a regular crown. First, the dentist temporarily fits the veneers to check for proper fit, bite alignment, and shade match. Any minor adjustments needed will be made on the spot. You’re also encouraged to share your preferences to ensure the veneers look just the way you want. Once everything is perfect, the veneers are permanently cemented in place, followed by light curing to secure them firmly and ensure lasting strength.
